Howdy all you harp addicts!!! In the near future, Jan. or Feb. @ the latest, I would like to do a video to share on youtube. Don't really know anything about doing that, but with a little help from my friends here, and my brother I should definitely be able to figure it out.

I'm seeking general info @ this time on how to best make the video. I want to get the best sound of my playing represented as possible. Do you just use the camera mic, do you use your amp and let the camera mic record that? Or is there a way to record your sound through the computer and combine the audio portion with the video.

I don't even know what kind of camera my brother has, but I'll be borrowing it as I don't have one. I figured I would try as many scenarios as possible to experiment with the results. But some of you already know how to proceed with this and could probably save me a lot of time.

I want to thank you in advance for any suggestions you have!! I'll read all of them and probably take notes too!

Have a Great Day and keep Harp'n, Duane

I've got a couple on right now. First you need to get a YouTube account, easy enough to sign up. Then you'll need a camera of some kind. I use my 7Meg Vid/Pic camera on a tripod so it'll be steady. Just shoot your vid and then post it to your YouTube account, it's that easy. Normally takes a while to upload so don't be in a hurry. Most cameras that have vid have a built in mic that's more then decent enough for a YouTube vid so don't worry about that. Good luck.
