What I'm wondering is if you already plugged in your mic+afb and tried blowing through that thing. ;)
I demand a demo of Jason playing through the amp!
We won't tell Brian. Honest!
I did try playing through it, It sounded great for like a old scool "Windy" blues sound but it couldn't beet the harp gear for Harp...imagine that.
Jason, it sounds great for guitar. I went to TheGearPage (massive guitar gear site) and the reviews there were great. In fact, I think I found some posts by Shawn there! I wish I could get together with lots of guitar and harp people and have everybody try everyone's else gear with their own harps, mics and guitars.
Guitar and Harp amps sound different due to the speaker config and valve configs drive and tonal settings too they each have there own purpose and specific thing to do did you know the fender bassman was originally a Bass guitar amp... then guitar players used it for blues and then finally harp players all todo with frequency response and such pardon the ramblings been a long day
Nether the less I love the sound of a decent guitar amp being a guitarist first harp player second i will watch this when i have the time
Perhaps foolishly, I want my harp and guitar to share all of my amps. I understand that I theoretically could get better harp tone by setting one up just for harp, but I love the sounds I get now. My harp sounds great through my Fender Twin, which I thought to be my most purely guitar amp!
