Looking for some sound clips of one playing some standard blues. Anyone? Can't find any!

Brian Purdy himself is a HS member. Goes by the terribly clandestine nick of "HarpGear". Have you tried asking him directly? I see what you mean, though. Lots of yootoobs of HG2 and Double Trouble, but none easily found of the HG35.

You could listen to Charlie Musselwhite or J.H.T. playing a HG30 (30 watts 2X8" Speakers) on YouTube. It's about as close as you'll get to what the HG35 sounds like.

Or you could always email Brian Purdy and ask him if he'll record a smalll audio clip for you of an HG35.

Maybe it's because it's new. If he sent me one, I would be happy to play it and plaster youtube with videos. :-)

Found some, but they were sort of lack luster because it was at a jam and they didn't turn it up obviously. Really, the thirty has 8"s huh?

Yeah Zack the HG30 had 2X8"s but it's no longer in production. It was superseded by the HG35.
