Has anyone played or even heard of this amp before? I got a little spending money for my birthday and I am hoping to buy an amp and I saw a listing for this one. So I googled it and only found 1 review which gave it all 10's but it was from a guitar player. The guy selling it used it for harp and claims to adore it. Thanks in advance for any insight.
I was looking at getting an epiphone valve junior if I do not find something else.

Hi there Hammik, if this is what I think it is (an extension speaker/amp for a record player/tape recorder) then it will sound f**king great with harp. I use a similar thing myself and have been raving about these little amps to anyone that will listen. They were mostly made in the 60s/70s as a early "stereo" for record players and reel to reel tape recorders and are very reliable and sound very sweet. You will obviously have to mic it up to the PA at a gig or jam but in my mind they sound better than any fender and used with an old crystal mic used for reel to reels they sound amazing. Buy it man and you won't be dissapointed and make sure you crank it when you play it. The pre-amp valves (tubes) used on the UK units I have use ECL86s which you can turn up full and not have any feedback. I have bought 4 different makes of these on ebay all for under 30 ($45) and they have all sounded excellent.
The only mod I have had to make is fitting a 1/4 input as they all had RCA inputs when I got them. Oh and I had to replace a capacitor on one of them which took 2 mins.

I just can't rate these little amps enough.

Thanks guys, Im really excited and hope I can get this amp. I had a feeling that this thing was legit but I had to hear it from others who are more knowledgeable on the subject. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hammik --

Did you get the amplifier? If so, how does it sound. I just bought a Voice of Music #165, low wattage tube amp with two eight inch speakers. I haven't received it yet, but I bet it will be a fantastic harp amp.

Oisin --

Which one do you have?
