A quick look at the internet indicates it is a solid state 30 watt amp made in the 80's. People seem to think very highly of it for clean sounds.

Yes, my JX20 is very highly tone too .

It is not for blues sound.

I had the 50 watt sibling, the JX50. It was my first amp. It was a clean sounding amp, except for some really nasty 80's distortion. It wasn't an amp for everyone, but if you can get decent tone out of that amp, you'll get decent tone out of darn near anything. I used it for blues.
