Hey yalls, I heard about this place on that other forum. Somebody said all the great harp players were there and I thought to myself that can't be 'cause I aint there. He he HE hE

I hope that it is cool to have a sense of humor. I hate being drab and refuse to be grouchy. I'm a harp, sax, guitar, singer, drummer playin kind of dude, but my first and formost instrument is the harmonica. I've been playing since '69 at the age of 12. Got 20 bucks for my first gig, got 20 bucks for my last gig too. Aint that a b*&^%^?? I hope to make lots of friends here and learn some more about the harp.

Peace Love and the Circle of 5ths

Welcome to Harmonica Space. I, for one, love a sense of humor, and I occasionally try to have one. I've been playing since the age of 12 or so, too. I've learned an enormous amount on this forum -- I just learned some new things today on the gear part of this forum about crystal mics. Have you found that harmonica helps your other instrument playing and vice versa? For me, it is just harp and guitar, but I'm just starting to get good enough on the guitar to feel the harp chops helping.

Randy welcome>

You will get $ 20 for joining in the mail. hold your breath.

We have a lot of great guys here, im not one of them. Im a newbie stated playing ( if you can call it that ) about 9 months ago.

I don't play any other instruments but im getting a yen for the bongos. I could be the first harmonica bongo player, kinda of like a new age thing, maybe to a rap or poem.

Hello! 20 bucks is pretty few for a gig. But I got 10 bucks for 5 minutes onstage last week, much better than pay for playing.

@ Blueeyes, there's a dude at the MBH forum who calls himself "congaron". He plays the congos and the harp. I'm not sure if also plays the bongos or not!

G'day fromOz here. Would love to chat about the diffence between Sax and Harp someday. They are my main instruments. Do you find people want to categorise you as either a sax or harp player? And it has nothing to do with your skills on said horns, but more to do with their preference and experiences? Escpecally if they have known a great Sax player for example then you are a harp player and visa versa.Wierd.
