12 hole chromatics in various keys

I need to buy a 12 hole Chromatic in Bb. I've used a Hohner 270 for years but never liked the square holes. I'd prefer a plastic comb as well. Does anyone have experience with the CX12? How does it compare in sound and playability, to Hering Velvet 1148 or Hering Special 48?

Help would be appreciated, thanks

I recently got a CX12. I half-valved it. I found it very playable with a fairly mellow tone - not as bright as my 64 Chromonica. Sorry, those are the only chroms I own - I'm not an expert.
