Dave, what kind of fish is that?
Obviously the Payne's pretty much rule
The fish in my avatar pic? It's a trophy citation freshwater drum, Ohio River at Parkersburg, W.Va.
SPAH aint gonna be happy with you shooting defenseless harps!
Well, the harps shoulda been packin' ;)
as long as it was justifiable...
Hi, Dave. True story: My buddy's driving home at 2:30 A.M on a back country road, and hits a deer. It didn't die and its suffering. He sees a light on in a house . Goes up and knocks on the door and asks the guy if he can borrow a gun to put the deer out of its misery. Sure enough, the guy lends him one.
Oops, forgot to add: COOK IT UP!
I think that's a great use for a Bluesband--however, you should use Seydel's for special times--like Thanksgiving and Christmas. . .
Tried that. The bullets bounced off and hit the Bluesband anyway. ;)
Just out of curiosity did the harp actually sell on Ebay?
For $8, I think. Ebaying it was dad's idea.
I don't have the heart to do that , even to an already dead harp. I'd probably be using an old battle rifle like an M1 or FAL if I wanted to put the poor little guy out of it's misery though
The vid Jason and I did where we shot some old harps was with one of those, a .303 British from WWII.
Shooting sure is fun!
I usually use one of my spring-piston air rifles to plink at stuff, mainly because they're easier to take outside and shoot and you don't have clean the barrels like you do on firearms.
But I stll shoot firearms, mainly .22's or my .45ACP's.
I'm thinking about trying a slingshot like my new shooting idol, Rufus Hussey... he can hit anything within range!
Here's an old photo of an airgun target, shot at 40 yards with my Air Arms TX200 (with scope naturally!)... Shaggy now sports some lead bling in his belly button. My son and I like to shoot-up fast-food kids happy meal toys !
That is hilarious.
