How about Frank Frost? Can't remember ever seeing any mention of him here @ Harmonica Space? I got the album "Frank Frost & Sam Carr The Jelly Roll Kings". Every time I play it, I like it more. I've been able to pick-up on some of his phrases and play along. I like all the tunes, and his tone. Maybe it's just a personel thing but they're really fun songs.

I'm just a beginner but I find his tone to be really great. What do some of you more advanced players think about his work?

One thing you should note that the stuff he recorded on Jewel label, Frank isn't playing harp on it at all and it's actually Little Arthur Williams playing harp and Frank Frost is playing guitar on it.

I thought Frank Frost was a fantastic harp player and singer. I've enjoy listening to his recordings. Take a listen to his CD entitled, "Rockin' The Just Joint Down" with the Jelly Roll Kings. Great stuff.

@ Barbeque Bob, thanks for that info Bob. I will be adding more of his tunes to my collection and I didn't know that.

@ Harpaholic, I've got a Delta Frost. Unfortunetly it currently has a bad 4-draw, hadn't yet got that breath control thing when I first got it. Have to get it fixed though. Did Frank play a Delta Frost?

@ Joe L, thanks for the suggestion, I'll put that next on my list. I've had so much fun with this first selection.
