My vote is for Boston! You could call it "Benders in Beantown." Wait a minute, that phrase actually sums up my late teens!

Zack P Replied:

Yeah, Boston would be cool, or Maine area! hahaha. I mean, I don't even know if I could afford it but at least I'd get a chance...:)

Philly is centrally located on the east coast. Great transport hub
by air, train, bus. The hotels are probably cheaper than NY.
They just started a harmonica club there. Atlantic City might be cool on
the off season. Home of the Soul Sourvivers

Come on down to the City of Brotherly Love

My dad fishes the Elk River area from time to time. We could ridetogether--he could fish, I could play. (He ties a split-wing, parachute-style royal wolf).

Oh . . . isn't there a harp shop nearby?
I wonder if a 6x tippet could be used as a guage for measuring the space between reeds and slots?

Hmmmmmmm. . . .

Trying to bait someone in . . . . .

Oh, wait--you probably don't even OWN a Hill's Brothers Coffee can.

I'm reviving this topic; after all I started it.

I haven't heard anything but suggestions for locations. Is there any chance this is going to happen this year?

Brady, you have any info on this? I only ask because I am still kicking myself for missing it last year; and I promised myself I would go this year no matter what.

I actually saw how cheap it was, if that came to New England area, or New York, MAYBE Chicago, I could hit that up since SPAH is a no go.

Jeremy H Replied:

This talk about Chicago is good I think. There has to be a catchy slogan about harmonicas and the windy city.

Apr 20, 2009 2:13 AM GMT
Brown Ale Guy Replied:

Chicago might be makeable.
