For those of you who remember or know Steve Johnson, Jason Ricci's former drummer (for Jason Ricci & New Blood). His wife, Sharon Johnson, passed away last night at their home in Tennessee after a battle with brain cancer.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I do not yet have information about the memorial service; however, please feel free to post any information you have here and I will do the same.

The memorial service for Sharon Booher Johnson, is set for Saturday, November 5 at 2 p.m. central time. The service will be at the mormon church located at 316 Mayfield Drive, Smyrna, TN. There will be a meal at the church after the service. In lieu of flowers, Sharon would prefer that donations be made to the American Brain Tumor Association. While a close family member like a spouse, child or a parent passes away, it is a time of intense grief. If is the remaining spouse will have feelings of fear, isolation, confusion and sometimes even anger the remaining family members especially. Leaving them to cope with raising the family single handed anger is very often an emotion that a wife or husband will feel if their partner dies. One must become strong and deal with the practical matters that will arise with the death of a beloved family member at this time however.
