if i could play the way he does, or Zach for that matter, at that age, i would really be tearing it up now. i think that harmonica right now is where guitar was in the 70's. all these guitar players started with the old blues stuff and really developed it, and the typical guitar player had to be so good and was expected to pick up a huge skill set before they could cut it in a band. people started mashing in jazz and classical, as well as electric distortion and whole new pallets of expression. now the same is happening with harp. it seems with all the info on the internet, and the years of tecnique development from sonny terry, through Jason and Chris, that the young talent and creativity is just exploding and all kinds of music are coming together. pretty exciting times in my opinion.
Oh yeah, that's some good play'n in my book!!
