What do you listen to when your out and about? More than just harp players, I hope. I've got the classic "Time Out" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet featuring Paul Desmond in my rotation right now. Lots of other stuff, but that's what's getting me between work and the car the last couple days. Lessee, what else... a little Tom Waits, some Sonny Rollins, oh yeah, some dude named Jason Rocky and the Fresh Blood, or something like that. :)

Yeah, I have a lot of that stuff--I love the early Brubeck--my Ipod has more mid-century stuff than most--like Canned Heat--Hendrix--CLAPTON!. I also carry a healthy dose of Clarence White and the Country Gentlemen and Tony Rice--Norman Blake Rocks! Mike Aldrich! Jerry Douglas. There is just so much great music out there--I'll never get the time to hear it all. . .
I've been obscessed with violin concertos for the last two years...i took a short break when the Breeders came out with their new album (I know that makes no sence) Cool subject SG SAX and thanks for rocking my tunes sax & Todd!
I have just about my whole music library on my iPod (60GB photo, several years old).
Definitely heavy on the harmonica side... I also put all my harmonica exercises on it (lots of these I cut-up into tiny files because all too often each of the original tracks contain multiple things, and I like breaking them out. Labor intensive too!
Tom Waits ? One of my most favorite albums of all is his album "Heart of a Saturday Night". God, I love singing along with a bunch of those songs... Fumblin' with the Blues, Depot, New Coat of Paint, Shiver My Timbers.
I have lots of old songs from the 30's and 40's... big band, all kinds of stuff!
