Okay, it doesn't happen that often... but Jason has some new harmonicas listed on eBay. Go check them out. These harps are absolutely gorgeous. The Pollock is probably the most unique and most "collectible" of all of them. They are all absolutely amazing instruments that Jason spent a lot of time working on.

OK--don't bid on that C anybody! I'm planning to pick it up for a cool 50 bucks in the last three seconds!! ;)
Very cool work, Jason--I don't think I'll be able to afford it, but I hope you do really well with these. . .
Just keep thinking that way sir as I am a great bid sniper.. Lol!!
That bottom one is one of those St. Valentine Mouse Ears isn't it? I know Jason has been talking probably two months about that Pollock... which now that I see it, looks like a Randy Sandoval corian... sweet stuff. Did I mention I have TWO JR customs! Did I mention THEY RULE! I do and they do.
Holy crap Jason!! You have the patients of Job. That purpleheart is ludicrously hard.
I bet you went through reams of sandpaper! Turned out AWESOME! That Pollock is beautiful!
I'm not looking, I'm not looking, I'm not looking......damn. I looked.
Only 2-3 hours left on Jason's harmonicas.... just wanted to let you know. FYI - if you aren't subscribed to the RSS feed --- please do. It will keep you up to date on new posts here, and you'll get instant notification about time sensitive things.
Omg! He DOES sell customized harmonicas. How much did they go for?
4-5 hundred range! But ohhhhhhhhh...would it be nice!
Custom harps is not for a beginner because beginners tend to be so brutally hard on harps and with what's done to make them play so responsively, for a beginner, it's the worst possible thing because the one single thing they don't have developed yet and iit's a major NECESSITY is real breath control and newbies tend to play far too hard and on a custom harp, where 80% LESS breath force is needed, it can be blown out in as few as 72 hours.
Custom stuff is awesome, as that's what I play, but those are NOT for newbies.
Damn I could use these harps right now! Wish I hadn't sold them...moneys long gone and so are the harps! Bummers.
Here's one of my two prized Jason Ricci harps, this one is a Bb Golden Melody with a rosewood comb, the other a prewar Marine Band A.
One can dream....
