The reeds on the Marine Band and the Golden Melody are the same, but the tuning is different. The MB is tuned to a comprimise tuning that I list under Diatonic Harmonica Tunings - An Update, and the Golden Melody is tuned to equal temperament.

Marine Band, Special 20 and Golden Melody reeds are exactly the same but they are different for differents key, e.g. 6 blow for C harp is the same lenghts as 6 blow as for G harp but 5 semitones higher because or reed thicknes so you can't remove one by other.
I don't know about american sellers, it seems that only harponline.de offers spare reed, but they cost too much for me, I'd better take another harp and got 19 spare reeds from old one ((:

Anyway you have to retune replaced reeds a bit, I think different tempereation would not be an issue. BTW try retuning your Golden Melodies to limit 5 compromise tuning (as I do for myself) the goes twice better for my taste. Small flatness (5-10 cents) isn't noticable while playing melodies, while chords sounds twice better.
