Brad, kudos to you because this new layout loads considerably faster now and much appreciated, more so if you are on an older computer or dialup or both. Nice job!

Thanks, Bob! Glad you like it. I'm trying to simplify it all a bit. Any thoughts on me minimizing the social element of this site and promoting as more of a forum? Our forums have a lot of information, so I'd like to see them utilized more.

I'm thinking we'd still have profile pages, and the ability to add our music -- but I'd eliminate the friending option. I'd make it more of a "follow" option -- so you can follow posts and updates by someone.

Thoughts?

fwiw Brad, i would go for that, just have a forum. since FB has begun taking over the world it seems like not so many folks want to hang other places and chat etc.

i look forward to new posts here whether it's something i can teach a bit about or learn a bit from!!

it is faster.... making it faster might bring in people.. the friending option is probably not so important, probably was more important back in the chat days

I like it! Much faster loading. When you first created HS, MySpace dominated the online environment, so it was appropriate that you set up HS the way you did. Now that MySpace has slipped into the digital dustbin, I think it's a good idea that you modify HS to suit the times.
