About Me

Not really a musician, long time office guy, but always have had some obsession with the harp dating back to the days of my teenage late night listening to “King Biscuit Flour Hour” out of WLS in Chicago. So I’ve had harps around for almost 40 years now. Mostly just sitting in boxes while I was workin’ and raising a family and am still doing that, but about a year ago I took e few lessons with the amazing Clint Hoover and obsession got rekindled. Had to temporarily suspend the lessons, which I hope to resume soon, but discovered Harmonica Jam on line and Jason Ricci and Gussow videos and am trying to get better. Obsessed with learning overblows. Need to still figure out tone and real command of the low notes.

I am so bummed I missed ya!!!  Thanks for coming out.  It was our first gig with the keyboard player.  I had a hard time finding a good spot to set up my amp without feedback, etc, but I still had a lot of fun.
