About Me

I play blues harmonica since 1990. But I need some years not to sound like a mixture between Neil Young and Bob Dylan.

I also need some time to explore the different styles of blues music and listen to the old harmonica master like Little Walter, Sonny Boy I & II, George Smith.....But I love the modern harp wizards, too.

My alltime favorit in singing and playing is Gary Primich who I met two times in my life. Rest in Peace Mr. Freeze.

Mississippi Campfire
This trio from Münster/Germany plays old blues songs in their own way.
We play every sunday right here in my living room. Sometimes we play in public....:-).
For us it is big fun and we love the blues. So enjoy.

Interests

I like travelling and I love NYC. New York/Manhattan is my second hometown. I was there a couple of times and met nice musicians like Popa Chubby, Adam Gussow (who now lives in Oxford), Michael Hill.....

I also like cats. I live here in Münster with my boyfriend and two cats: MiniMe (who now is much more MaxiMe) and Jimmy "Rocket" Kater.

I do some magic. It is a small hobby, but some tricks are really cool.

I read a lot of books. Most of the time thriller. James Patterson, Mo Hayder, Kathy Reichs, Tess Gerritsen, stuff like that.

I work in a kindergarden as an educator.

In germany I have my own blog. Okay, it is in german, but you`ll find pictures, videos and MP3. Go and watch, maybe you`ll find something interesting things. And please leave a comment.
