About Me

I have been blowing harp since I started as a teenager. I love music and the people that music has introduced me to. I own chromatic harps but am still a diatonic guy 99.99%. Been playing semi-professionally since I was 18 years old. My guess is that I have broken the 1000 gig mark in the last few years. Many of those were freebies or very low paying situations. I have had my share of hot gigs that paid ok as well. Those are the ones that keep you going and believing in the dream! What exactly is that dream? Being an active memebr in SPAH I have been able to meet the best of the best players worldwide. I know firsthand just how hard it is to actually attempt and succeed at being a full time, making a living harp player. My dream is to just keep getting better and to have a special place in my life to keep enjoying the harmonica. Perhaps a CD project if the planets align as well. I make my living in sales, marketing and public relations. That is how I will always pay my bills unless lightning strikes and I am reincarnated with the creative skills and drive that my heros possess. I am very pleased and excited about being appointed to the Board of Directors of SPAH. As the Publicity Director of SPAH I now have the opportunity to share the magic of our great instrument around the world. Life is good! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or interest in SPAH.
